Hair Tool Safety Precautions

Always read and follow the instructions provided with your Aria Beauty styling tool before use. Electrical hair tools can become extremely hot and should be used, handled and stored with care.

Electrical Safety & Water

• Keep electrical styling tools away from water.
• Do not use a styling tool while bathing, showering or near a sink, bathtub or other source of water.
• Do not operate an electrical styling tool with wet hands.
• If a plugged-in styling tool falls into water, do not reach into the water or attempt to retrieve it. Disconnect the electrical power safely before removing the appliance.
• Never immerse the styling tool, cord or plug in water or any other liquid.

Heat & Burn Safety

Heated styling tools can reach extremely high temperatures and may cause burns. Avoid touching heated plates, barrels, heating elements or other hot surfaces during or immediately after use.

• Handle heated styling surfaces with care.
• Use a heat-resistant styling glove when supplied or recommended for your styling tool.
• Keep heated surfaces away from your skin, scalp, face, neck and ears.
• Turn the styling tool off and unplug it after every use.
• Never leave a styling tool unattended while it is plugged in or switched on.
• Allow the styling tool to cool completely before storing it.

If you experience a minor burn, stop using the styling tool immediately and cool the affected area with clean, cool running water for at least 10 minutes. Seek medical attention when appropriate.

Heat-Resistant Surfaces

Do not place a hot styling tool on or near flammable materials or surfaces that may be damaged by heat, including certain plastics, fabrics and delicate furniture surfaces.

If you need to set the styling tool down during use, place it only on a stable, heat-resistant surface or heat-resistant mat designed for heated styling tools.

Inspect Your Styling Tool Before Use

Always inspect your styling tool, power cord and plug before use. Do not use the tool if any part appears damaged, cracked, frayed or otherwise defective.

If your styling tool is damaged or is not operating correctly, stop using it and contact Aria Beauty for assistance.

Cord Safety

• Do not wrap the power cord tightly around the styling tool.
• Avoid pulling, twisting, sharply bending or placing excessive strain on the cord.
• Do not carry the styling tool by its power cord.
• Keep the cord away from hot surfaces.
• Do not use the tool if the cord or plug shows signs of damage.

Storage

After use, switch off and unplug the styling tool and allow it to cool completely before storing.

Store the styling tool in a clean, dry and secure location away from water, excessive heat and direct sunlight. Keep styling tools and power cords out of reach of children and pets.

If you believe your styling tool has a defect or requires warranty service, please contact Aria Beauty before attempting any repair.

Do not disassemble, modify or attempt to repair the styling tool yourself unless specifically instructed by Aria Beauty.

Warranty claims may require proof of purchase along with photographs or other information about the styling tool and the issue being reported.

Damage resulting from misuse, improper handling or use contrary to the product instructions may not be covered by the applicable warranty.
